It’s the Maize Maze Adventure at Belvedere Plantation. This year our maze theme is in celebration of Curious George, everyone’s favorite monkey, turning 75. Curious George, the iconic character adored by kids and grownups alike, is celebrating his 75th birthday on Sept. 17.
Created in 1941, the classic tale of Curious George was written by H.A. and Margret Rey. Today, >Curious George stories, including the seven original stories by the Reys, have sold more than seventy-five million copies worldwide. We are proud to celebrate this magnificent milestone, and we cherish the joyful reading experiences that this mischievous, resourceful and curious little monkey has brought to generations of families!
WOW! Farm admission allows you to re-enter the maze as many times as you’d like
during the day or night of your visit.
Little Farmers’ Maze
It’s a smaller section beside the large main maze sized just for little guys. This section is stroller accessible (as much as a corn field can be). It does contain the optional Y Bridge with slide. Only this portion of the maze will be open Tuesday through Friday mornings.
Final Friday Flashlight Maze
After sundown on the last Friday night of the season, November 3, 2017, we’ll turn out the lights and you can brave the maze in the dark! Bring your own flashlight to find your way.
You may want to consider bringing insect repellent for evening hours, as we have a few pesky skeeters that like a nibble or two.
